I visited Whidbey Island this summer and was so intrigued with the Deception Pass historical bridge that I climbed down underneath and took this photo. The bridge took less than a year to build (1934-1935). The bridge is one of the scenic wonders of the Pacific Northwest and connects Whidbey Island to Fidalgo Island
